Popular Nozzle Spray Patterns for Sewer and Drain Cleaning

The choice of a particular nozzle will depend on the jetting equipment and the applications. These applications include residential, commercial and municipal applications.

We offer nozzle sizes from 1/8” NPT, suitable for residential applications, up to 1” NPT suitable for commercial and/or municipal applications.

Description: The Thruster has a 25° angle for maximum pulling power.

Use: For a plugged line situation or for runs greater than 150 ft., or both.

Default Pattern: 1 forward jet and 3 rear jets @ 25°.

BN THRUSTER

Description: 25° thrusting angle for maximum distance and 3 forward jets at 10° for loosening hard grease or ice. Can also be used for pushing debris forward.

Default Pattern: 3 forward jets @ 10° and 6 rear jets @ 25°

(with limitations).

HIGH THRUST DEGREASER

BN CORNER

Description: 45° Flushing angle combined with a 90° side jet to assist nozzle through corners, etc.

Default Pattern: 1 side jet @ 90° & 3 rear jets @ 45°.

MEDIUM THRUST DEGREASER/DE-ICER

35° penetrating angle with 3 forward jets for loosening hard grease or ice. Use for forward cleaning or pushing debris forward on short to medium length runs.

Pattern: 3 forward @ 10° & 6 rear jets @ 35°.

BN MONSTER

Description: A dual angle nozzle combining the forces of both thrust and flush for superior pulling and cleaning power.

Default Pattern: 1 forward, 2 to 3 rear jets @ 45° & 2 to 3 rear jets @ 25° (with limitation).

FLUSHING DEGREASER / DE-ICER

45° flushing angle with 3 forward jets for loosening hard grease or ice. Useful for pushing debris forward. Limited distance capabilities.

Pattern: 3 forward @ 10° & 6 rear jets @ 45°.

STANDARD ROTOR JET PATTERN

Description: Maximum cleaning action from 90° side jets with 45° flushing / pulling angle. This pattern is standard for Sewer Squad Kits.

Pattern: 2 side jets @ 90° & 2 rear jets @ 45° (30° for 1/2 & 3/4).

Description: The Flusher has a 45° angle with good pulling power.

Use: For runs up to 100 ft.

A good general purpose cleaning nozzle.

Default Pattern: 0 forward jets,

6 rear jets @ 45°.
